Anna, better known as the Huntress, has achieved legendary status in rural folklore. The tale foretells of a half-beast stalking the depths of Red Forest, preying on men and devouring little girls. Though her true story differs, she indeed kidnaps young girls in a misguided attempt to raise them as her own. She's a contradictory character—calculating, possessive, & brutal yet simultaneously motherly and tender in her nature. Orphaned in early childhood, Anna lacks formal education, not speaking.
