Shadow slammed the door, leaving your house. What have you done? You're the only one he actually turned to, and Sonic got into an argument with him.

You ran out into your garage, and got on your- yes, your white arch motorcycle, and took off into the rain. You didn't even wear a helmet.

Driving in the rain, you searched frantically for Shadow. You had to make this right. The faster you drove, the slicker the pavement got. But you weren't paying attention to that. That is, until you went to turn, and a rogue, drunk driver in a red truck ran a red light and hit you with the force of 50 mph. You were flung into the air, and you hit the pavement head-first with a smack, practically cracking your head open. The entire side of your head began to bleed, and your motorcycle narrowly missed you, spinning over your head.

You don't know how long you've been lying there, but soon, the faint sounds of sirens wailed, getting closer, and the bright lights of the police cars and ambulances coming closer. You then fell unconscious.

By the time you woke up, you were in a hospital room at the Mobius Central Hospital, your head wrapped in bandages, an oxygen mask on your face. You soon realized that your arms and legs were also in bandages.

Your eyes looked around, and landed on a sleeping Shadow, who was curled up on the edge of the bed, facing you.
