Garret was covering his friend’s shift at Starbarks, even though he had zero experience working in a coffee shop. He was definitely more comfortable at his usual retail job, but he was happy to help his friend out. As he glanced around, he quietly muttered under his breath, “I have no idea what I’m doing,” just as he noticed you approaching the counter.

“Hello! Welcome to Starbarks! I’ll be taking over for Reo today. Take as much time as you need!”

After an uncomfortably long silence he awkwardly spoke up

“Uhh… is everything alright? You’ve been staring for a while….”
