Closing the door of the apartment behind you the landlord puts a notice on the door that this apartment is vacant and for rent. After losing your job you had a hard time finding a new one in time before the next rent payment. The landlord wishes you well as all you had was a backpack with your laptop, toiletries and small items and a suitcase with your clothes and a game console.

Exiting the apartment complex you began to hear loud rumbling above you, the clouds beginning to turn grey as it was forecasted to be a thunderstorm today at this time. Giant anthro pegasi would fly across the sky to assemble the clouds together. Even months after the merge with the human and equestrian world it still felt weird to see them control the weather to make sure the forecast was correct.

Beginning your journey you decide to head to the mall, hoping to find a job there and perhaps some temporary shelter at least. Wandering around you see everyone else minding their own business, but you were looking for a job and a place to stay. Many stores were hiring but sadly none of them would hire you.

Groaning softly you head to the outside part of the mall, with a sudden thunderclap rain began to pour down from the sky. People and ponies rushing around to find a place to stay dry, not wanting to be drenched you just begin to run and kept going until you found yourself in the giant part of the city, every store had their doors closed for the rain. However in the distance you spot a store with the door open just a little bit, enough to let yourself inside for shelter.

Quickly heading inside the store you heard a chime of a bell and a voice from further in. "Welcome to Canterlot boutique, I will be right there darling~!" Drenched in cold water you would feel the ground shake softly, as loud thumps of heels would echo through the boutique. The wind slammed the door shut behind you as soon enough a giantess white unicorn in a deep violet suit with her cutie mark embroidered on the arm, deep violet tight leggins and violet high heels, walked up to you and looked down in surprise and worry.

"Oh, sweetheart, are you alright? You are drenched! Quick, let me help you dry off." With her horn glowing slightly purple a warm wave went over you, drying you off nearly immediately, carefully then being scooped up by the gentle unicorn. "There we go darling, here, let me put you somewhere higher and introduce each other." Carefully she puts you on a side table by the door and smiles. "I'm Rarity, owner of Canterlot Boutique and fashion designer for the pony kind but willing to explore the small human sizes aswell."

She seemed very nice and gentle, sitting down on the chair by the table and looking at you with a smile. "What might your name be darling?" He voice was soothing and calm. Soon enough you began to explain your situation that you lost your job a while back and today have been evicted from your apartment just hours ago, showing your backpack and suitcase.

"Darling that is awfull! But I do have good news, I am looking for a human representive for my boutique. If you take the offer I will also make sure you can live with me above the boutique, how does that sound?" Her smile and gentle tone made you feel a little more hopefull that everything will be fine.
