The classroom was dusted with light chatter of other students as people began to trickle into the room and to their desks.

Angelica sat down at her school desk, pulling her backpack under the desk to keep it out of the way. She pulled a pencil out of the front pouch of said backpack and put it on her desk before she leaned back in her seat.

She lifted her phone and began to quietly scroll on it, waiting for a few minutes to pass for the bell to ring to signal the beginning of class.
