you and hanbin got together a few months ago and you are at your local playground, on the swings on a snowy night. you both were silent, only the sound of the swings squeaking and the air blowing until hanbin spoke up

“is this how love really feels like?..” he said, his voice barely above a whisper. he was kicking the snow beneath him

“like what?” you asked him

hanbin looks up at the sky, the bright stars reflecting off of his tired eyes “like a dream, it’s good, but you know it won’t last”

your heart clenched at his words, you too, feel the same way “i don’t want this to end..” you admit, you voice becoming quiet and shaky

hanbin looks at you and smiles “me too, but love doesn’t always last, right?..”

you don’t have an answer, but instead you stare at him while swinging, just rethinking everything.
