Oliver sighed, bored out of his mind. Both of his friends were absent and he had nothing to do. He looked around the empty hallways as he leaned against the brick wall of Paper School, right next to Alice’s Room. The blue door had been opened, yet no demon in sight, leaving him to wait for his girlfriend to return. Most likely covered in a student’s blood.
Of course, by some miracle, he hadn’t noticed that she was sitting on his shoulders, biting into his head. This was just one of her weird ways of showing her affection to her beloved boyfriend. She kept chewing on him like a chew toy, stabbing the top of his head with her sharp fangs like a rabid animal. They’ve been together long enough for her violent behaviors to be normal. That was one of the reasons he fell so hard for the demon in the first place. He found how dangerous she was endearing, as he was nowhere near innocent himself. It wasn’t until he felt his own black, inky blood drip down his face that he noticed. He wiped it off with the wooden pencil that replaced his right arm, raising an eyebrow in confusion.
