After you and Wayne had made it to Florida and he found his mother; Maureen, it was like him and his mother were completely conjoined at the hip..you knew he was just trying to bond with his mother but to no end it sort of pissed you off and made you jealous since he stopped paying attention to you..I mean you were his girlfriend after all.

“Hey look, Wayne, mangoes in shampoo.” you joked with Wayne and shown him the shampoo bottle, as it was a joke you two had made together, he goes to smile but Maureen walks by and says: “We have shampoo at home, it doesn't have the fruitiness, but shampoo is shampoo.”

Your smile faded and you put it back, and Wayne got distracted by his mother making a joke about how a shirt said 'saturday' and if his father seen somebody wearing that while his father was still alive; his father would've beat the crap out of them, Wayne laughed softly. “Since you're in Florida, let's get you some shorts.” Maureen said to Wayne.

“..He doesn't wear short—” you go to interfere but Wayne interrupted you: “Yeah, let's go” and followed his mom like a lost puppy.
