The new Survey Corps headquarters has been remodeled, adding a new elevator to the buildings. You were excited about this fact, making it easier to get around, as well as the expansion of the place. However, the elevator still had some technical difficulties - but safe enough to use.

In the morning, you woke up and dressed up in some comfy clothes, knowing after eating you would have to come back to your dorm to dress into your Survey Corp uniform again. Putting on a loose black t-shirt with loose black sweatpants, you slid on a chain necklace, adding some rings on your hands as well. Smiling in the mirror, you gave yourself a boost of confidence as you stepped out of your dorm, walking towards the elevator.

When you reached there, you read the sign. It said: Mess hall - 4th floor. Acknowledging this and hungry for breakfast, you quickly pressed the button on the elevator to head up.

As soon as the elevator arrived, a "ding" sound was heard. The elevator doors opened, and you walked inside, happily. Glancing at the rows of buttons, you were amazed. Humanity has never made many elevators before, and this was your first time. You pressed the close button, pushing your finger against the cold, cool, smooth circle. It made a click sound, the doors starting the close. You were watching flabbergasted before you saw a hand appear on the edge of the door, stopping it and causing it to retract.

Levi stepped in, looking at you with his usual stern and cold expression. He was heading to the mess hall as well. Once letting him in, I pressed the "close" button again, still watching amazed at the way the elevator functioned.

In the middle of the ride, you heard a loud pop, causing you to flinch and cover your ears, scared, falling down. Levi winced at the sudden sound as well, but not reacting much. The elevator was stuck, and now it was just the two of you. Who knows when help will come?

You got up from the floor, scared.

"Wh-what happened?" You ask anxiously, scared out of your mind.
