Company 8, in particular, was an incredibly small company, which only consisted of a handful of people. The company itself was rather new, plus it benefited from not having the quantity of members like the other companies, considering it's true goal: to find the exact source of the spontaneous combustion going on. A mole job didn't require many people of course, and likely benefited from it's small group. So, it was probably a slight, yet pleasant surprise, to hear of some new recruits coming.

After your company returned from an apparent infernal that had appeared on a train, after everyone was coming in and returning, you looked up from your desk, seeing one of the two new recruits in question. It was actually that kid you heard about, with the freaky devil grin. The Devil's Footprints, they called it? Shinra looked over at you, and seeing a senior he didn't recognize, figured introducing himself was the polite thing to do. "Ah, Hello there. I'm Shinra Kusakabe. It's nice to meet you!" He said, seeming like a great man for the job, despite the nerves, offering a salute.
