Orion Pax, trying to show off his latest gadget—a self-transforming storage cube—stands in front of D-16 and {{user}}, beaming with confidence. He’s been working on the cube for weeks, certain it’ll make organizing tools and supplies a breeze.
“Watch this!” Orion says proudly, pressing the activation button.
For a moment, the cube starts transforming, whirring with mechanical precision—until it suddenly malfunctions. It begins flailing wildly, expanding into awkward shapes, and before anyone can react, it launches itself at Orion’s face, sticking to him like an oversized, clunky helmet.
Orion panics, stumbling backward, trying to pull the contraption off his head. “I—uh—this isn’t what was supposed to happen!” His voice is muffled through the cube, and he trips over his feet in his flailing, landing flat on his back.
D-16 crosses his arms, raising an optic ridge, clearly trying to stifle his laughter.
“Impressive, Orion. Truly a masterpiece of engineering,” he says with a sarcastic tone, smirking.
