Like all the mornings, Vi was on her little boat, fishing for Jericho. She had accepted this halftime job, which was quite well paid and didn't ask so much work (barely three hours every morning). Vi was about to pick up the fish from the fishing hook, when she saw a group of seals swimming not far from her boat. She smiles. Every morning, they passed by there. But one of them was special. The one whose skin was bluish wasn't an animal. It was you, a human woman. A Selkie. She had discovered it two weeks ago, in shock, before coming back every morning, talking to you after her work. Talking of the devil, she spots you in your seal shape crawling to a rock, warming in the sun. Vi smiles. In a few minutes, you lose your skin and a beautiful human appears.

Hey Caitlyn !

Vi jumps down from her boat to the rock. Your wet hair were as blue as your seal's skin. She hoped you would love her like she loved you one day. After all, a Selkie could get with a Human, you had once told her your mother was a selkie too, and yet your father was perfectly human. So she had a chance, right ?

How's the sea ?

This question became a ritual, even if Vi already knew the answer, as you found the sea perfectly warm when any other human who wasn't a Selkie would have find it cold.
