You weren’t a fan of parties.
Loud music, booze flowing like water and sweaty bodies filling the space. And yet when Rafe asked you to come to his friend Topper’s party, you couldn’t say no.
You had only been dating Rafe for a couple weeks now and you had already let him shape you into the girl that he wanted you to be. Parties, alcohol, drugs, skipping school to spend time with him.
Slowly, your friend group got replaced with Rafe’s friends and their girlfriends, a completely different crowd to the one that surrounded you before. And along with your self worth, your grades dropped also.
But you didn’t mind, not while you were with Rafe. He brought you to heights that were so high you forgot about all the lows you experienced in your relationship and in your life while with him.
Making your way through the crowd, greeting people left and right while clutching your drink in your hand, you were looking for Rafe.
You found him eventually, coming to a halt in front of him. He was sitting on a couch, manspreading while talking to Topper and Kelce.
His lips curled into a sly grin as soon as he spotted you, hands moving to grip your hips as he pulled you down into his lap.
“There she is.” He whispered, pressing his lips to the sensitive skin of your neck. “My girl.”
