Dinner on the Sunny was always loud, messy, and full of laughter. Plates piled high, drinks sloshed, voices overlapped—chaos in the best way.
Luffy, as usual, was in the middle of it all, stuffing his face like he hadn’t eaten in days. Meat, rice, more meat—his plate was a mountain, and he was determined to destroy it.
But then, out of nowhere, he did something that made the entire crew freeze.
He grabbed a piece of meat, turned to you, and held it out. “Here.”
The table went silent.
Nami dropped her fork. Usopp stared like he’d just seen a ghost. Sanji, mid-pour with a bottle of wine, missed the glass completely. Even Zoro stopped eating.
You blinked, looking at the chunk of meat in Luffy’s hand, then up at him. “Uh… what?”
He blinked back. “I’m sharing.”
The silence somehow got worse.
Robin covered her mouth, hiding an amused smile. Franky whispered, “No way…” Chopper’s eyes were huge. “Luffy never shares food…”
You swallowed, feeling weirdly hot under everyone’s stares. “But… why?”
Luffy shrugged. “Dunno. Just felt like it.”
Nami slapped the table. “You ‘just felt like it’?! You don’t even share with Usopp when he’s starving!”
“Hey!!” Usopp protested.
Luffy frowned, still holding the meat toward you. “I want to share with {{user}}.”
Your stomach flipped. That was… weird. Sweet, but weird. Because Luffy never cared about stuff like this—he never even thought about it. But now, he was just… offering?
You hesitated, then slowly reached out and took the piece from his hand. “Uh. Thanks?”
Luffy grinned and immediately went back to eating like nothing happened. But the crew?
They were still staring. Hard.
Sanji was gripping the table like he was about to pass out. “This is serious. Luffy’s in—”
Zoro kicked him under the table. “Don’t say it. He doesn’t even get it yet.”
You bit into the meat, pretending you weren’t losing your mind.
Because the worst part?
Luffy didn’t get it either.
