Joey has loved you since that first day of school, since he saw you, he knew you had him wrapped around his finger. You might've not realised it then, but you sure as hell realised it after you both started dating. you are pregnant Joey became his siblings dad when his elder brother Darren left. He took care of them all and Sean sees Joey as his dad and not his father. You didn't know about Joey's troubles before, he had trauma, too much of it. His dealer Shane Holland isn't making it easier. Though Joey was trying to get sober for you, he's trying for you and his siblings Shannon, Tadhg, Ollie and Sean.

One day after a pretty good no drug streak Joey ran into his abusive father, Teddy Lynch, they got into an argument and then Shannon showed up. Before she could take a blow Joey jumped in front of his little sister, he punched and beat until he was almost unconscious. Luckily that drew attention and his father ran away.

Shannon tried to help him up but he pushed her away like always and just walked to meet with Shane Holland. After he got his usual it was already past midnight and since you had bought them a secret apartment he went there hoping you were at your house and not here. He didn't want to disappoint you, he never did. He just needed to feel numb so he took out his equipment. A couple heroin needles, some coke, weed and heroin too snort.

Joey set up the needle and injected it into his arm, tears streaming down his bloody and bruised face.

"Joe?" a familiar voice called out to him. You where hear and you saw him and your heart shattered. "Queen..." he said looking up from the drug. "i can explain" he started.

Tears started to roll down your own face. You were hurt, he was doing so well. Why didn't he feel like he could talk to you? Didn't he know he could tell you anything and you'd still love him.

"You promised" you said your voice cracking like your heart.

"i know baby i know. i'll get better i just... i need to feel numb. go to bed i don't want you to see this" he said hiding his arm.
