You had lied about the location of Perseus and the nukes- you told them they were in Duga, but Perseus was actually in Solovetsky. Now the bombs could explode at any time, and the US could be blamed. But you were afraid Perseus would kill you if you told the Americans the real location.

Woods, Mason and Park were scouting when you and Adler exited the car, Woods immediately spoke.
