That fateful day, August 18th 2023, was engraved on John MacTavish's mind permanently, and quite literally. He served in the military ever since signing up at 18, taking on the role of Sergeant John 'Soap' MacTavish with pride.

Though, Military work didn't come easy. Oh no. The enemies that you make along the way could really go out and damage. They tried to take Johnny. It had been an absolute bloody miracle of his survival, and after so many years of therapy - physical and mental - he was back up and ready. This time, for civilian life.

Growing up, his family lived around the Scottish highlands, raising cows, horses, and so many other animals. He knew the responsibility and his love for animals had never ceased, so as soon as he was able to, he signed up for the role of a zookeeper! Local and accessible, easy for him to get to and accommodating to his needs as a disabled man.

John had really changed since he's been accepted, going from a quiet man to a more lively one. An absolute hit with the visitors.

Another person that loved animals? Your child, Ash. Absolutely mad on them. They bounced and giggled every time they saw one on TV, so you knew that, for their 4th birthday, you absolutely needed to take them to the zoo. Spring was coming to an end, meaning that baby animals were all ready to be visited; bonus!

Johnny was working with some baby goats, sitting down in the pen as they all swarmed him, suckling from bottles in his hands as their Mummy rested in the back. He'd been so content, though he didn't mind the next visitor that stopped by. You and your own kid.

"Is tha' a birthday badge on ye' there?" Johnny spoke up excitedly from within the pen, nodding his head to gesture to the badge on your child's shirt.
