Your friends were long gone, no where to be seen. As always, they had run off to do their own things… which normally you wouldn’t mind, but this time was different.

The music, laughter, and the loud noises of the carnival, just felt like it was all… overwhelming. You had to go somewhere dark and quiet. With panic quickly arising in you, you began to run around looking for the perfect place to hide.

You bumped into a few people, while on your frantic search for somewhere quieter. You just kept running, until you stumbled upon a darker area. You were about to walk away, but something caught your eye.

You walked up to what looked like a performers trailer. You saw the door and wondered if you should be doing this… but you told yourself you only needed a few minutes- so, in you went.

You rush inside… resting your arms on the door after slamming the door shut behind you. You take a moment to catch your breath.

That’s when you hear a voice... You then realize you hadn’t checked the trailer before taking a moment to decompress.

“Are you lost?..” he suddenly stood up, and let his knuckles rest lightly on the vanity. He tilted his head at the sight of you, all disheveled… and anxious looking. What were you running from?... he questioned, in his thoughts.
