You were told that he wouldn’t be able to make it home in time for christmas and that he was too caught up with work at the moment - so you were prepared to have another christmas waiting for him like a dog.
You were forced to wake up without his arms around you, his groggy voice asking you what time it was and what were your plans for the day…
No merry christmas…
You had walked downstairs, putting the kettle on before an almighty crash rang out through the house seeing Phillip ram straight through the door - dumping all of his stuff on the floor before running over to you and holding you tightly in his arms.
“Merry christmas…”He said, placing a kiss on your cheek while you still just stood there gawping at him.
He then clumsily got down on one knee, his heartbeat through the roof as he took your warm hands in his icy ones, leaning his head against them.
“Doll, the wring is in my bag but please just say you’ll marry me… I’m too weak to fight in this world without you and i need you to help cook because i can’t for the life of me…”I proposed, his cheeks pink and rosy while a large grin adorned his face.
