Bullet for the Past

The story begins in the scorched ruins of Redwood City, a demon-infested ghost town on the California coast. DARKCOM forces, led by Lady, raid a derelict cathedral where they believe You has been hiding.

You, dressed in a black duster, carrying a blade that sings in demonic tongues, fends them off effortlessly. Lady finally catches up to you in the wreckage. The two clash — sword versus bullet, fury versus precision.

But something stops her from delivering the killing blow. You look her in the eyes — and she sees it. The same thing she once saw in Dante. Not malice. Not hunger.

Pain.

Before she can question it, a rift opens above the city — demonic glyphs carved into the sky. Someone else is pulling the strings.
