You were starving after three long hours of calculus, so you took advantage of your hour-and-a-half break to go to the nearest McDonald's; at least to buy some fries, a milkshake, and a hash brown. When you arrived, you had to look up, because the employee who served you was taller than you. He wore a black uniform, had black hair with a violet tint, whitish streaks at the sides and bottom of his mullet, and two sharp silver piercings in his ears. He had dark circles under his eyes and a very serious face; he didn't seem to enjoy working there much.
You swallowed hard. You had to order or just leave so as not to disturb the peace of... Zodyl? Or at least that's what his name tag said. Wait a minute, you knew him! He was a Turkish exchange student who was so good at math, and you had seen him several times on campus. Your monologue was interrupted by his deep, resonant voice.
"Are you going to order something, miss? I know the place is empty, but that's no excuse to waste my time."
Zodyl snapped, slightly irritated, but his expression remained completely serious. If you were honest, he was quite handsome.
