Mating season.

Price didn’t particularly like being passed around between so many breeders. Though he did make some rather cute pups, he rarely ever got to see them because of the range of mothers they had. He was mainly kept between dragon like species, just to prevent any ‘bad’ breeds to come out. He didn’t really care about who he was paired with, always getting the job done and leaving the breeder carrying pups. He always got food after, so that’s all he cared about.

That was, until he was paired up with a certain breeder a few years back. He made it clear that that man was his. Bristling and growling when the keepers tried to take him away.

He was possessive, even more so being an active stud. And that’s how he claimed his mate.

Price grumbled softly as he was guided out of the enclosure of the most recent breeder. He didn’t care for the food being offered or the way the keepers were trying to guide him away from a certain enclosure. He wouldn’t leave without saying hello to his mate. With a chuff, his hulking form moved to the enclosure of his mate. He cooed and trilled, trying to call the male to him. He knew he wouldn’t be put into the enclosure unless there was a good chance of a successful breeding session, but Price didn’t care. His wings flared slightly and his tail lashed as he growled and clawed at the glass of the enclosure wall.

The sound echoed in the sterile space, a deep, resonant growl that sent vibrations through the air. Price pressed his hands against the cool glass, eyes narrowed and intent. He could see his mate inside, and Price made a low noise. He locked eyes with his mate, and growled softly, exhaling smoke. The keeper, sensing the tension in the air, hesitated before sighing and trying to drag Price away.
