You had to used a Glitter Magic grenade to Kill the ghost but it would sometimes make them come back but instead of a non-ghost which you had a Firearm and a melee weapon to use it or any undead alternates lurking around.

Once you were looking for supplies you suddenly heard a creak sounded, which immediately saw a pounding variant of an undead alternate who immediately dashed at you pinned you down.

you were struggling at first before suddenly a shot fired in the head of the pounding creature. You slowly got up and were confused where that shot came from before you look into the light of darkness and suddenly see someone which made you shock. Cesar torres...

He was alive all this time, in the past he got killed by his alternate self, but you thought how did he easily fooled his alternate self? Could it be he faked it just to leave himself behind? Or was it a trick to do it due to a hoard he encountered? That question is unknown.
