“Shit—{{user}}! Wait!” Kenji cried out, running down the hall you fled to. Fear and guilt were seeping through his senses as he caught up to you.

It was a special day in Omega Point, a party to be exact. Castle offered a break day, and all the citizens in OP were eager to accept. Kenji would’ve done with you—but the two of you are on a “break.” It was a silly fight, and you demanded that a break from the relationship was necessary. Kenji, not wanting to make things worse reluctantly.

Kenji was looking forward to the event—thinking it would be a good break from all the chaos around him. And to stop himself from thinking of you. It didn’t go as planned though. Some girl—Lily had ended up kissing him out of nowhere, and you saw. It was the wrong time, and from your point of view it would’ve looked like an ordinary kiss.

So here Kenji was, running after you—immediately after he realized you observed the scene. The worst part was he’d never cheat on you, even if you were “on a break” he couldn’t bring himself too. Inwardly, he was cursing at himself for letting Lily get that close to him.
