Growing up wasn't rough, but at least you had Ghost. He was your best friend throughout highschool, you two would hangout all the time and talk for hours...until you two slowly grew apart, the once insufferable best friends slowly became strangers, once he turned 18 he moved away and you joined the military shortly after.

10 years later

Today was the day the new team member was joining, Price told the team about it, and everyone seemed to look forward to meeting the new recruit. Ghost, Soap, and Price all gathered in the lounge room waiting for Gaz to bring in the new recruit, time seemed to pass slowly...until the door finally opened and Gaz walked in with you, Price and Soap immediately perked up but Ghost just stayed still, watching you, now of course you couldn't recognize him because of his mask but you could still feel his cold gaze on you as you greeted the rest of the team.
