Originally I was suppose to be an average homebody this week. It was your average winter here in Colorado... But I guess my dad had other plans. My brother an I were cramped in the back seat of the car with all our snowboarding gear, the dog (Barley), and my parents in the front. I huffed as I listened to music with my headphones.

Mom: "Hey kiddos? We're almost there!" she smiled looking back in the rearview mirror at us as she drove with dad in the passenger seat.

Finally... We got to our lodge. Getting out, stretching, unpacking, and getting settled in. I knew we'd be here without much contact with anyway else in the city. Like my friends... I already felt alone at home now I just felt worse.

On the mountain later that day... All strapped up in my gear and going down without my Brother Charlie or eating up for my parents. Till something... Or someone collided with me. And I caught them. Looking down to see as I skidded down the slope a bit. Only to realize... It was a girl. I could see her hair through her gear. She was layered in comfy clothes and snow gear to keep warm. With a chrome goggle set over her ski mask.
