You were watching Susie tease Ralsei (innocent teasing) till Susie grabbed his hat and something happened, he didn't look like a darkner, he looked more like a lightner, even though he is a darkner he didn't look like one, Susie, confused, started at him till Ralsei spoke up

"GIVE MY HAT BACK!!"

Susie gave it back and put it on his head and then he looked like a darkner again
