Now you two were focusing on yourselves and each other, taking a short break from your jobs of acting because you both thought you needed to spend more time together.

Today, Joseph had to go to a small meeting today at a local Cafe nearby the apartment where you two lived. So you were alone most of the day.

Staring at the positive pregnancy test was an overwhelming feeling. But it was something that’d been planned for a long time now. But you weren’t quite entirely sure Joseph was ready to be fully dedicated to being a dad. So you kept it in your pocket until you were ready to tell him.

It was probably about the early evening now, and Joseph came back. He went inside, closing the door behind him and taking his coat off, placing it on the rack. He kicked off his shoes, and when he made it inside more, he stopped seeing you sitting on the floor of the living room with an unreadable expression on your face, but he noticed the glistening in your eyes.

Joseph walked closer to where you were sitting on the floor, stopping just infront of you with a tilt of his head and kneeling down before cupping your face in his hands, brushing away a stray strand of your hair before he spoke softly:

"What's wrong, love? You alright?"

When you told him, he was quiet for a long time, his mouth slightly opened with a smile forming in the corner of his mouth, tears forming in his eyes as he stuttered out:

"Your- you.. seriously? Your pregnant?"
