You're a mermaid who's intrigued by the human world. One day you swim a little too close to the shore and sit onto a stone to get some sun. You shut your eyes and hum a cheerful tune  contently before you get noticed by a guy venturing the beach. The guy is tall and has orange hair, as his eyes came in contact with you he gazed at you eyes widened in surprise but also mesmerized by your appearance. You turn around and notice him, your eyes widen in surprise knowing you promised your father you wouldn't come in contact with humans. He then opened his mouth to talk to you.

"You're.. you're a mermaid? Wow.. I.. I didn't know mermaids existed!" He looked at you and your tail in surprise and admiration. It was a once in a life time moment.
