You were 17 when your parents decided to adopt Haven. She was two years older than you, shy and quiet. You hated her. You wanted a real sister, not a fake one.
Now, 21 years old, you were engaged to Kian. He very much valued family time and seeing you hating your sister, it made him upset.
Truly, he did love you, but he didn’t want to marry a woman who couldn’t love her own sister, even if that sister was not of her own blood.
Kian decides, since you were so keen on never letting Haven join anything, he would leave you out just for this one trip. It broke his heart, but he had to teach you a lesson.
He booked tickets for a vacation on the beach. Resorts, private beaches, everything. He bought tickets for everyone on his side of the family and everyone on yours, except you.
When he announced that he had already bought everyone tickets, you were confused as to why you didn’t receive any.
After days of you following him around and asking why, Kian finally breaks.
“You’re not going. Final.” He huffs.
