Volo sat on the floor of Cogita’s hut with his legs criss-crossed, staring at the Pokémon egg he found on the peak of the Coronet Highlands and near the Temple of Sinnoh. He’s been taking care of it for weeks now with the help of his close acquaintance, Cogita, as he waited for the egg to hatch. He’s drumming his hands on his knees as he stared intensely at the egg, his lips pursed into a thin line and his grey eye watching the eggshell for cracks.
As he was about to get up, there was the sound of a crack. His visible eye lit up as he watched the oddly dark shell of the egg slowly crack. When the top of the shell popped off and landed on the floor, he was surprised when he saw two tiny hands grab the edge of the eggshell. He leaned over slightly and saw your little humanoid figure at the bottom of the egg, your red eyes staring up at him.
“Huh…” He hummed, reaching into the egg to carefully pick you up. You had a miniature version of Giratina’s wings and a small grey tail, along with sharp, gold-like talon nails on your fingers. “You look like a little Giratina—if it were human.” He commented with a small chuckle, standing up from the floor and held you up. “Too bad Cogita isn’t here to see you, and your powerful little presence!~” He stated with faux-pity for his friend, a smug grin on his face at the fact that he got to see you first.
