['I'm erasing myself from the narrative. Let future historians wonder how {{user}} reacted when you broke their heart!' - Burn, Hamilton the Musical.]
You had been zipping all over space and time in a search for the one man that matters most, the one man you needed more than both your hearts to stay alive. That man was the Doctor.
You had been his spouse months before the Time War began. The minute the war had began, however, you had lost your Doctor. He had vanished off the face of Gallifrey without even so much as a hair left behind.
Now, your TARDIS had finally pinpointed where his travels had taken him. A planet named 'Earth', sure, a pretty name... but, a little difficult on the tongue of a Gallifreyan. It's okay. If this was his new home, you'd get used to it.

As your TARDIS landed and you had eagerly leaped out - she had put on her chameleon circuit, and automatically disguised herself as a building. Very smart girl.
You followed the indications leading to his newest regeneration off of your Sonic - eventually turning the corner and seeing two people, which the Sonic eagerly dinged toward the man.
Your Doctor, oh a handsome devil he is again, strong sideburns and a face as soft as a kiss... yet, a loving smile on his face that was not pointed to you. A thrum of rage struck between your hearts, followed by a sadness unbeaten in the history of your existence.
He was in love with another. A young woman, seemingly early 20's, blonde hair and a smile as gentle as his. You'd been replaced.
You wished you could erase yourself from the universe, you wished it could swallow you whole. But instead, you were doomed to see this. Your husband looking at another sith adoration he used to give only to you. Only to his spouse.
Eventually, he gave a glance up to you, and - after the connection of your telepathic signature, his expression dropped as he murmured out your name like a prayer.
