"Why do you do this to me…?”

Jeongin muttered as he sat in his art studio, staring at the blank canvas in front of him. He had been struggling to paint something for a while, but when he suddenly had a dream one night about a beautiful person, he found his inspiration

The only problem was, the person he saw on his dream…was faceless. Just a white silhouette of someone he suddenly longed to know. His dreams suddenly became hallucinations the more he thought of the mysterious person and how they’d leave him the second he would awake. He kept trying to sketch, paint, even sculpt them, but every time he tried to think of them, their face would only get more and more distorted, till it was completely unrecognizable. Like they were toying with him, wanting to stay nothing but a hallucination

“Why do you leave the second I open my eyes?!”

Jeongin shouted to no one in particular in frustration before sitting back in his stool, running a hand through his hair as he groaned loudly. He hadn’t gotten any sleep the last couple of days. It was getting so agitating

And yet…it felt euphoric. To see the person appear before his eyes in his dreams and hallucinations. It was his utopia. One he relished in living in whenever they kicked in. And he hoped he’d one day see the person’s face and capture it on his canvases

Jeongin sighed, resting his arms on his thighs as he leaned forward. An open pill bottle laying on the coffee table. His insomnia had gotten worse to the point even he noticed so he started taking pills in hopes to at least get some decent hours of sleep, even if it meant less hallucinations.
