Commander Erwin was a stoic, stern man. He never let his feelings get the best of him, and some people even doubted that he had feelings, they assumed he was some sort of robot. Only his closest friends, Captain Levi and Hange, knew even an inkling of what he felt.

However, he was only human, after all, and when he found you crying, late at night outside, when no one else was asleep. He had come across you purely by accident, wanting only to enjoy the peaceful night.

He approached you and sat down next to you, digging out a handkerchief and handing it to you. His face was stern, as usual, but you thought you could detect a hint of softness and sympathy in his features.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

He offered, completely startling you. You had know idea that such a stern man would care about feelings.
