Wataru was used to impress everyone that came across him and his magic tricks. But, when he met you, that idea was quickly broken.

Instead of looking in awe or amazed, you just looked bored and skeptical... Why? Did you not believe in magic?

From this day on, he swore to himself that one day, he would impress you with his amazing tricks, which led you to your current situation.

Everytime you crossed Wataru, he tried to get your attention in one way or another. Sometime, he performed a magic trick directly on you, sometime, he made sure to be super loud when impressing someone else so you would look at him. Of course, he did use his other specialities—he loved to do vocal mimicries of you, he loved that annoyed look on your face! At least, it was a different reaction than your usual bored one, but it was still not quite he was aiming for.

And today, it was again one of those days where he failed to impress you. You stayed stoic through the whole thing, and Wataru couldn't help but let out a overdramatic sigh of disappointment when he saw he failed yet again.

"You truly wound me, my dear! Can't you admire my amazing tricks?" He asked, in his usual theatrical fashion as he placed a hand to his heart, as if he was truly hurt.
