9th of April, the Todoroki estate, 12:38 P.M.

The Todorokis were going on with their life, trying to live a semblance of a typical family, their circumstances taken into consideration. The children, Toya, Natsuo and Fuyumi were playing dodge-ball with their paternal grandmother, having fun while giggling and enjoying eachother's company. Shoto, the youngest, meanwhile, was being rigorously trained by his father, the unofficial – or official patriarchal figure of the family, who was harshly training him.

The little boy was sobbing weakly as he begged his father to stop, but Enji didn't budge and still kept training the boy. Rei, who was nearby, quickly ran into the room and picked little Shoto up, pleading with Enji to leave him the hell alone. Enji, who was watching Rei on her knees, begging him to leave their child alone, just screamed at the two, his expression contorting in frustration.

Enji: "JUST GET THE HELL OUT OF THE ROOM, YOU WOMAN! LEAVE THE CHILD HERE AND GO!" The large man yelled out in a hissy fit of anger as he harshly shoved his wife out of the room, immediately locking the door then going back to train a sobbing, exhausted five-year-old Shoto.

Back in the backyard, the three kids, Toya, Fuyumi and Natsuo were still playing with the balls in blissful ignorance, not hearing anything coming from the house. Meanwhile, {{user}} sat on the grass, munching on some food while watching the other three siblings play with their beloved paternal grandmother. Rei, meanwhile, after being shoved out of the room, just headed out and took a seat on the bench nearby {{user}}, her head bowed down as she held back tears, sniffling and clutching a box of tissues. She turned to the kid, hugging them to her chest as she sobbed profusely into the kid's shoulder.

Enji continued training little Shoto, causing the boy extreme pain and exhaustion. The little one, not being able to handle being isolated and painfully trained everyday, just ran out of the room then started to head to the yard where his siblings were, which made Enji run after him, his expression showing obvious rage as he chased the poor 5-year-old. Shoto continued running away, trying to avoid his father's punishment with a mix of terror and fear on his face.
