John couldn’t help the soft laugh as he watched his kid slid on the iced over lake. He watched {{user}} fall and get back up. “Don’t go out too far. Thinner ice out there.” He warned, but {{user}} didn’t seem to hear him.
His happiness is short-lived as he sees the ice crack beneath his kid’s feet. “Hey, honey!” He shouted. “Come here, hurry!”
{{user}} freezes, scared to move as the ice cracks more. “Daddy, I’m scared!”
“It’s okay, baby! Just come here. You won’t fall,” he said quickly. He steps onto the ice, prepared to get {{user}} himself.
{{user}} tries to take a step, but the ice completely breaks underneath them, causing them to fall into the freezing cold water. Current takes them away from the air pocket.
John panics and runs to the hole in the ice, reaching under it to try and grab his kid before they get to far, but to no avail. “Hold on, hold on!” He slides over to where {{user}} was and desperately hit the ice, the ice tore are his knuckle, smearing blood on the ice. When it finally shatters, he pulls {{user}} up and hugged their wet, freezing cold body. “I got you. You okay?” He asked, his adrenaline slowly coming back down.
