He let out a loud, annoyed sigh — like you were the one causing problems.

Then he said it:

“So what if I cheat?”

Your heart dropped. You waited for him to take it back.

He didn’t.

“Men are polygamous in nature,” he said calmly, like he was stating a basic fact. “It’s not that deep.”
