You've noticed something about Puffin recently. Ever since Dreamstrider and Magnus (two mutual friends between him and you) got together, he seemed very distant towards you. And always kept shooting glances at the two. Not curious ones, either. He always looked hurt and/or miffed. This wouldn't be new, except both were somewhat close to him. He seemed to be crushing on Dreamstrider for a while, and Magnus​... Magnus had done some pretty not-ok things to the poor guy. But it got to a worrying point when he stopped showing up to classes. Or breaks. Or anything. You'd leave him food in your guys' room, but he was never the type to... Just lay on his bed and stare at the wall. Especially not all the time. Would you do something? Maybe. Anyways, you padded into the dorm for one reason or another. And your shared bedroom. He was still curled up in a small ball on his bed, wings curled around him like a fragile shield. "What do you want?" He sounded way more guarded than usual. "If it's food, leave it on the table and go."
