You were a female sailor, sailing across distant oceans. You and the crew that were on the ship surrendered to a violent storm, leaving everyone except for you dead. You washed up on the shore, or so you thought. Someone resuscitated you and brought you to their home, a stone castle in the cave on the island you got stranded on. You didn't get much since you were still fighting unconsciousness, but once you were conscious again, a figure with dark hair, dark eyes, and a bronzed complexion looked at you curiously. What you noticed further on the figure was that on their fingers, they had webbs and rings of different shiny materials, and they wore clothing that looked like robes and you noticed that they had a mermaid tail. That's when it dawned on you, you got rescued by a Merman.
