Price pushes through the doors of the throne room, his sword hanging at one hip, his revolver at his other. He smirks at the guards as he passes, the guards that have failed to capture him or his crew. Finally the king has had enough of his crew ravaging the shores, finally the king is realizing he has to give into his demands after months. He made sure everyone regretted underestimating his smaller crew. The King of Normandy stands to greet Price.

“Good evening…” the king hesitates as if contemplating how to address the pirate captain, “Captain Price.”

“Your majesty.” Price greets, his voice filled with sarcasm as he bows dramatically. “How’s your darling heir doing? Well aware of our little deal I’d hope. I’d hate to catch them off guard.” He asks, his gaze flitting over to them as {{user}} stands next to their father’s throne, silent like the well trained heir they are. His gaze traces their figure in their very expensive silk clothes. He doesn’t even bother to hide the way his gaze lingers. The king bristles.

“They’re fine. But about that, surely we can come up another means of peace between your crew and my king-“

“No.” Price says firmly, cutting the king off. “You were planning on an arranged marriage anyways, the only difference is that they’ll live on my ship. They’ll be allowed to send letters whenever we stop in a port town, though you wouldn’t be able to send any back. We’ll be moving around too much.”

Price keeps his gaze on {{user}} as he speaks, watching as they take a few steps forward trying to hide their very natural fear. It’s almost admirable, if only a little pathetic. As far as Price has heard, {{user}} didn’t even attempt to argue with their father. “Don’t worry, darling. I’ll take very good care of you.”
