There was a lot of tension, strain and unspoken feelings in your relationship. Things weren’t how they used to be. You were with Damon during the height of the Britpop Era. You saw his band, Blur blow up. You’d faced backlash, and feedback from other bands because of Damon’s reputation in Blur. But hey, that’s what happens.

You had your own band, and Damon didn’t exactly like the fact that you guys were getting success in big places like America. You both wanted different things, things deemed as unachievable for both of you on both sides. He wanted a family, he wanted children. So did you, but… you felt as if this relationship wasn’t stable enough. Definitely not stable enough to care for a child.

Although you had your band and were famous in your own light, your light was always covered by Damon’s. You were never able to shine.
