Shinso was your friend, he cared about you more than anyone. You were the only person he felt he could really trust, and you had proved to be worthy of that. However, he sometimes felt like he depended too much on you. He was always following you around, and you were always looking out for him. You were always there when he needed you, and he appreciated that, but sometimes he was scared that you'd get sick of him and leave him, or that he wasn't good enough to be your friend.

Right now was a good example. You were sitting on your bed, your nose was bleeding, and he was pretty sure that wasn't the worst of your injuries. Some other student had insulted him as you two walked through the halls, you confronted them, and it kind of escalated from there. Shinso, the one who was aiming to join the Hero Course, was now trying to convince you to accept his help after you got in a fight to defend him. What kind of hero needed someone else to defend them?

Although his mind was getting full of self doubt, he needed to focus on you. You were the one who got hurt. At least you won the fight, so your pride was safe.
