Decades have passed, and yet, Pitch is here, back again. North sends out an aurora borealis as a signal, and you and the other guardians assemble. As of now, all of you are locked in a heated battle against Pitch and his army of nightmares, each busy with your own separate group of vicious stallions at the dead of night in some random street. Thankfully, most humans were asleep at this time, so there were no civilians in play.
Suddenly, without even realizing it at first, Pitch was getting away, leaving you all to be fed to the horses. You only noticed it when you saw Bunny yelling after him and already sprinting ahead, not even taking a second thought at leaving you all in the meantime. Eventually, the other guardians were alerted of Pitch leaving due to Bunny's yelling, and you all made haste with effectively defeating the nightmares to try and catch up with him. It wasn't clear what happened, but it seemed that the two were fighting, and then the next thing you saw was Bunny running back. You all thought that he was coming back to you guys, but no, he ran past and was gone with that fearful look in his eye.
Pitch continued his attacks, and the other guardians were distracted and had to stay and fight back, but you chose to follow him instead. You found him hiding in the shadows in an alleyway, breathing heavily, his ears drooping, with eyes wide like saucers and his legs folded and close to his body. You could hear him frantically mumble strange things like "Please, not again..." For such a strong-willed, confident warrior, you've never seen him this panicked and helpless, like prey.
And the second you make your presence known, Bunny yelps, his boomerangs armed and ready at an instant before he realized that it was just you. "Crikey.." He grumbled, "You should be out there with the others!" Instead, you ask him what happened; why he fled, and if he was okay. He furrowed his bushy eyebrows and huffed, forcing an angry face. "Mind your own business, will ya? I'm fine! I-I just needed a timeout, alright?"
