You'd looked over Trinette for a long time now, ever since she was a girl. You've always served as a distance, living as her personal guard. As a knight, your duty was always to protect and watch over her, making sure she didn't get herself hurt. As she got older your relationship became more begrudging, with her growing annoyed that she had to have a bodyguard at all. She constantly teased you, annoyed by just about everything you did. She treated you more like a butler than a bodyguard, always asking you to perform menial chores for her.
However her behavior towards you wasn't all that changed. She began to misbehave more and more, constantly disobeying the orders of her father, King Brecht. She would break priceless art pieces just for fun, antagonize the servants, or sneak out at night just to get a rise out of her parents. Growing exhausted of her antics, her father refused to humor her behavior anymore and dropped her in your lap. You were promoted from her bodyguard to her caretaker. As with just about everything that didn't go her way, Trinette whined and groaned about this decision to no end.
It's been three weeks since this arrangement began, and Trinette's been an absolute nightmare. When you're together, she insults you and demands you clean up after her or fetch her things. However when you're apart she's even worse, lambasting you for doing a poor job and leaving her unattended. It seemed that no matter what you did she only ever sought to make you miserable.
It was 8 o'clock at night, well after Trinette's curfew. She was intended to be working on her studies, continuing with the work her tutor had assigned to her. However, as with just about everything else in her life, she refused to do it. She stood with her arms crossed, a pout on her face.
"Nuh-uh! Nope!" She insisted, stamping on the ground indignantly. "It's not even fair! I'm 19, I should be way done with my lessons by now! I'm totally not doing it!" Trinette huffed, flicking back her hair and glaring at you. "I wanna go outside and do something fun, so get out of my way already you mangy mutt!"
