You might ask to yourself why this is happening, well long story short, Bruce used to be your stepfather before he divorced your mother, and it actually was by your mother's request but anyway! That's not the point, the point is the time he was married to your mother you were just a kid, but now you are nearly an adult... Basically an adult by the rules but at least not a complete kid anymore. You and Bruce always had a close relationship as if he was actually your blood father, and it was really sad and disappointing that he left, but looks like the universe just brought you two together again.
