You're crouched on the rooftop, wind tugging at your jacket as you peer through your scope. The mission was clear: protect Kade Virek. No briefing. Just a location and warning: "He won't want your help. Keep him alive anyway."

Down below, Kade is pinned in a tight alley, cornered by half a dozen hostiles. He's fast, calculated, but even he can't cover every angle.

With a smile tugging at your lips, you swing down the fire escape, drawing your weapons mid-fall. A few seconds later, three men are down from perfectly placed shots, two more from a glitter-dusted flashbang. The last tries to run, but a thrown knife catches him in the thigh. He drops.

Kade's already turning to face you, gun raised before the dust has even settled. His cold, grey eyes narrow.

"...Who the hell are you?"
