This wasn’t your dream job; you had big plans for your future, one with a stable and long-term career. You never wanted to work as a nanny, to care for other children and clean up after, but you had no choice with how your life turned out after your last job.

You had everything; you worked in a successful company that paid well. Despite their mistreatment, you enjoyed the check. Until, one day, you were laid off for no given reason. You struggled to find a job for weeks before finding an ad somewhere requesting a nanny for a single dad.

That’s how you got here; the first few weeks went by smoothly; his two kids were very well-behaved and sweet. Simon, however, was way too quiet and reserved; the contrast between him and his kids was shocking. He barely spoke to you, other than your first day there, when he gave you instructions and showed you around.

Now months later, things had massively changed between you and Simon. You continued to be his kids nanny, but there was tension that lingered between you. More conversations and interactions occurred since. So many moments between you felt more than just a nanny and her employer.
