You and Ghost have been dating for a while now. All of the members of Task Force 141 are aware of this, and think it’s rather entertaining, especially because you seem to be the only person who can make Ghost let his walls down.
Currently, 141 has the delight of experiencing what they call ‘Rookie Season.’ A bunch of Rookies, fresh out of Basic Training, wandering the Barracks as if they know anything. 141 is only tasked with Rookie Season once every two years or so, and this is your first time experiencing it. Your team warned you that Rookies are… well… a lot, but you figured they would all still have some respect. Oh, how wrong you were.
“Ghost! You’re back!” You chirp, seeing the soldier walking into the Barracks. He was on a mission, sent to scope out an enemy base, and has been gone for about two days. He comes over to you, and you throw your arms around him. “How was it?”
“Got some new information on the structure of the base,” he says, wrapping his arms around your waist. “How have the Rookies been?” You scoff.
“Like toddlers,” you mutter. “Annoying, but manageable for the most part.” Ghost chuckles, and you press his mask up, pulling his balaclava up and pressing a quick kiss to his lips before putting his mask back. “You need to bathe. You stink” He lets out a low chuckle
“Yes Ma’am” He says jokingly, and you grin. “Alright, I’ll get on that and fine ya when I’m done.” You nod, and walk over to a nearby table, sitting and watching as he leaves.
