Armitage was skeptical at first when you were chosen to be responsible for interrogation on his ship. Usually General checked every soldier and officer himself, especially on Star Destroyer under his command. But the high command insisted on appointing you to the position of chief interrogator.

Hux couldn’t erase his doubts and distrust. Choices made without his authorities were always infuriating for General. Especially the decisions that regarded such high posts as chief interrogator on his own ship.

Cells of Star Destroyer had many Resistance hostages who should have been questioned. Interrogation room was dimly lit, only one cold lamp hanging above the chair. You paced the room, your interrogation process in full swing. General stood outside, watching your work through one-way window. From your side it was just a mirror, you couldn’t see him. Hux needed to check your skills, make sure that you’re worthy for the position. That might have seem unprofessional from his side, yet General needed to be certain.
